Entertainer Andrew Toeman and 3 musicians on piano, guitar, & clarinet. 1:30pm (Doors open at 12:45pm)
They will be entertaining us with folk songs, blues, & broadway hits.

Wednesday, June 5, 2024:
Speaker, Karen Derouaux from AGI, on Memory Loss (Alzheimer Group Inc.) 1:30pm. (Doors open at 12:45pm)
In this presentation, we will differentiate the signs of normal aging versus cognitive impairment, outline the general diagnostic process and important terms used by healthcare professionals. We will conclude with how to communicate kindly and effectively with a person experiencing cognitive impairment, techniques that when in common practice, will manifest a dementia-friendly community.

Wednesday JUNE 19, 2024:
Mark Friedman will speak on AI. 1:30pm (Doors open at 12:45pm)
Mark will speak about the origins of AI and the benefits to many multi-national companies and in the medical field as well as pop culture. The negatives were fraud, scams, and false info as well as child pornography. Legislation is now in the process of giving fines and jail time to those who use AI for unethical purposes when arrested. Unfortunately many jobs will be lost because of AI.

Wednesday JUNE 26, 2024:
The Cote Saint Luc Women’s Club Presents a Piano Recital by award winning musical prodigy Devon Packer. 1:30pm. Doors open at 12:45pm at the Harold Greenspon Auditorium. Tickets are $15.00, available through the Women’s Club. You can purchase them at our meetings May 15, June 5, and June 19, or at the Fitness classes, at Hand Knee & Foot Samba, Majhong, or Bridge.
Payment by e-Transfer is now available. You must specify what the payment is for, along with your name, phone # and number of tickets. Use the cslwomensclub@gmail.com email address for the e-transfer.
You may pick up your tickets at the Greenspon Auditorium before the concert begins.
Wednesday July 17, 2024: Day Trip to Quebec City, Montmorency Falls, & Dinner Buffet.
We leave the ACC at 8:00 A.M. sharp (You must be at the ACC at 7:30 A.M. sharp to board the Bus) We return at 9:00 P.M.
We will travel by Luxury Bus and arrive at Quebec City at 11:00 A.M.
We will be met by our local guide, and tour Old Quebec for 1 hour then depart for Montmorency Falls where we will ride a cable car to the top and have our picnic lunch, (you bring your own lunch). After we return to the Old City and continue our tour. At 4:45 we drive to Buffet des Continents for a buffet dinner. At 6:00 we depart for Montreal for a 9:00 arrival.
Costs include all admissions, the buffet dinner and bus.

You can pay at our meetings or leave the payment in a sealed envelope at the front desk of the Aquatic & Community Center with your name and info. Write “The Women’s Club” on the outside of the envelope.
Everyone who has made a reservation must bring in the payments now.
Wednesday August 14, 2024:
Day Trip to Brockville; 1000 Islands Cruise; Tour of Fulford Mansion & Tea at Cosies Tea House.
We leave the ACC at 8:30 A.M. sharp, (you must be at the ACC at 8:00 A.M. sharp to board the bus). We return at 6:00 P.M.
We will travel by Luxury Bus and arrive at Brockville at 10:30 A.M. Then we board our 1000 Island & Seaway Cruise Ship. This will take 1 ½ hours during which we will eat our lunches on board. (You bring your own lunch)
We will also visit Canada’s oldest Railway Tunnel which was built in 1850 and runs 1 quarter of a mile under the city. It was restored in 2017 and visitors can now walk through the tunnel.
After we will tour the Fulford Place mansion; an Edwardian mansion containing much of the original furnishings & art collected from around the world.
After we will have tea at Cosies Tea House, (Scones, jam, cream & tea) Then we depart for Montreal at 4:00 P.M.
Cost for Bus, Cruise, and High Tea:
$110.00 for Members
$120.00 for Non-members

Mah-Jong is on Mondays from 12:30-3:30
Free Play Mah-Jong. No supervision or teaching, only volunteer organizers. (This is in the Senior Lounge, 2nd Floor).
Bridge is on Tuesdays from 12:30-3:30 (This is in Salon A & B on the 2nd Floor)
Hand Knee & Foot Samba Canasta is on Fridays from 12:30-3:30
Free play (This is in Salon A on the 2nd Floor)
Fitness Classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the ACC gym.
We have opened up some spaces. If you are interested, leave us a phone message, (top of this flyer) and someone will get back to you.
Indoor Walking Tuesdays only: in the ACC Gym, 8:30 AM-9:30 A.M. This is a free program open to all.
