We are pleased to announce that for the upcoming year, our club will be collaborating with the library to offer engaging programming for our members and the community. Programs will be held one Wednesday per month in the Harold Greenspon Auditorium.
We look forward to a year of enriching events!
*You must be a member to participate in most clubs, although some are available for an extra fee.
Registration is usually by email or phone, unless otherwise indicated.
CLUBS

Free Play Mah-Jong
When: Mondays from 12:30 PM-3:30 PM.
Where: Senior Lounge 2nd Floor
Cost: $50 (Membership)
No supervision or teaching; only volunteer organizers. All players must have reasonable skill in order to play.
Lessons for beginners will be offered at a later date.

Bridge Club is popular with our Members
When: Tuesdays from 12:30 PM-3:30 PM.
Where: Salon A on the second floor of the ACC.*
Cost: $50 (Membership)
Free play/no instruction. All players must have reasonable skill in order to play.

Samba Hand, Knee & Foot Canasta Free Play
When: Fridays from 12:30 AM-3:30 PM.
Where: ACC, Salon A, second Floor
Cost: $50 (Membership)
The first SAMBA, Hand, Knee & Foot Canasta drop-in back at the ACC will be Friday, September 19.
Samba is a card game based on Canasta, but it is much simpler.
Hand, Knee and Foot, is a more difficult version of Samba.
Samba, Hand, Knee and Foot is the game being played at the moment.

Guided tour with a Doscent at the Museum of Fine Arts
When: Spring 2025
Where: Museum of Fine Arts, 1380 Sherbrooke St West.
This exhibit is the first to set the works of American painter Georgia O’Keeffe in dialogue with that of British sculptor Henry Moore. This large-scale exhibition draws new parallels between the lives and art of these two 20th century icons and pioneers of modern art. Through over 120 works, together with recreations of each artist’s studio, it retraces the evolution of their artistic practices and underscores the profound influence the natural world had on their work.

Ariana Nasr is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in popular classics from around the world, sung in a variety of styles and languages. Originally from Nova Scotia, she has spent the last 8 years living and performing in Montréal. In her solo show she accompanies herself with a chromatic button accordion and will be singing some of her favourite songs such as La Vie en Rose, Tumbalalaika, Habanera from Carmen, Bei Mir Bist Du Schein, Crazy, Mambo Italiano, Besame Mucho and O Sole Mio.
