Elisabeth is the Official Opposition Critic for Mental Health, Social Services, Fight Against Homelessness and for persons Living with a Disability or with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

She will also tell us what it is like to be a woman in the National Assembly and discuss current issues. Please bring your questions. Refreshments will be served.

A Festive Holiday Lunch. Entertainment by Nick Burgess (keyboard ) & Eva Petris (Singer)

Eva was born and raised in Montreal; Eva has performed on stages all across Canada. 

Most notably, Eva was part of the original North American cast of Mythic: An Immortal Rock Musical at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts.

Other select credits include: Nerva in Fatal Charade (Elkabong Theatre); Rodgers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing and Mrs. Phelps in Matilda (North Stage, TO); two seasons as Philippa Gordon in Anne & Gilbert: The Musical (The Guild/PEI); the title role in Captain Aurora: A Superhero Musical (Mtl Fringe & Wildside); Dora Wasserman's Yiddish Theatre's On Second Avenue (Segal Centre); Divine Intervention (Atlantic Fringe); Val in A Chorus Line: In Concert; Godspell (Beautiful City Theatre).

The festive lunch will be scoops of Egg Salad, Tuna, Fake Crab, Garden Green salad & Potato salad. Dinner rolls, fruit cocktail and donut holes for dessert. Also non alcoholic wines. Tea & coffee.


You can bring your friends, family, & significant other.

 

You can pay for this event at our meeting on Nov. 15.

Choices will be:

1.   Leaving a cheque or cash in a sealed envelope at the reception desk at the Aquatics & Community Centre with Senior Women’s Club on the outside..Put your name clearly written , & phone # in the envelope. Cheques are made out to CSL Senior Womens Club.

 

2.   You can mail a cheque to the Women’s Club address at top of this flyer.

 

3.  You can give your cash or cheque at any of our drop-in programs - Fitness, Mahjong, Bridge, or Samba. Club leaders will have receipt books to take your reservation & payment.

This is a RSVP Class. We can only take 14 people. We have an art teacher who will walk us through doing a masterpiece. Its lots of fun and better than therapy.

The following Clubs are ongoing for paid up members 2023/2024

 

Mahjong is on Mondays from 12:30-3:30

Free Play Mah Jong . No supervision or teaching, only volunteer organizers (This is in the Senior Lounge 2nd Floor)

 

Bridge is on Tuesdays from 12:30-3:30 ( This is in Salon A & B on the 2nd Floor)

 

Samba is on Fridays from 12:30-3:30

As well as Hand Knee & Foot free play ( This is in the Senior Lounge 2nd Floor)

 

Fitness Classes Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:30-10:30 AM in the ACC Gym.

We have opened up some spaces. If you are interested, leave a message at our phone line(Top of this flyer and someone will get back to you.

 

Indoor Walking on Tuesdays only. in the ACC Gym 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM. This is a free program open to all.
